About the role:

This Customer Quality Manager position involves ensuring clients are delighted with the delivery of high-quality, accurate and timely results from all PhotonAssay units. The role includes three broad areas of responsibility:

• Ensure short and long-term quality assurance and quality control meets laboratory and end-user (mining) customer requirements, which is essential for establishing and maintaining foundational confidence in PhotonAssay.
• Effective communication and relationship management with new and existing in-region Chrysos customers about all aspects of instrument performance and data quality.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new quality processes and procedures that improve PhotonAssay data quality globally.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage relationships with direct customers regarding data quality, QAQC procedures, instrument calibration and performance.
2. Manage liaisons between customers and the Product Performance team.
3. Optimise on-site calibrations for new and existing services, working closely with the Applications team.
4. Prepare documentation, technical reports, publications and presentations as required.
5. Mentor the regional PhysOps team members and other junior staff in-region as required.
6. Develop improved data quality control procedures.
7. Work with Technical Services team to identify opportunities for growth in service offerings and sample volumes.
8. Manage the long-term QAQC performance of PhotonAssay, comparing the performance of PhotonAssay versus traditional laboratory techniques.
9. Manage provisions from pre-deployment meetings with customers through to handover.
10. Contribute to a culture that values collaboration, technical excellence and ongoing staff learning and development.
11. Contribute as a data quality expert or technical support specialist if needed.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in a laboratory or quality management role.
• Experience and understanding of mining company requirements for QAQC, report protocols under NI43-101, JORC and others.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of international compliance and standardisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and manuals.
• Stakeholder relation management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
