The Role:
We are seeking an unaccredited cardiology registrar to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a cardiology registrar, you will work closely with our consultant cardiologists and junior medical officers to provide high-quality care to inpatients and outpatients of our Cardiology Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support consultant cardiologists and junior medical officers in providing care to patients with cardiovascular disorders
- Manage patients with emergency cardiovascular conditions, including ST elevation myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolus, and aortic dissection
- Participate in non-invasive investigations such as transthoracic echocardiography and invasive procedures like coronary angiography and permanent pacing
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
- Experience as a registrar with sound knowledge in the management of patients with cardiovascular disorders
- Proven ability to work up patients with cardiac disease and identify potential life-threatening disorders
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment
