Cardiology Registrar Position at Northern Health

About the Role:
Northern Health is seeking a Cardiology Registrar to join our team. As an unaccredited Cardiology Registrar, you will work closely with consultant cardiologists and junior medical officers to provide care to inpatients and outpatients of the Cardiology Unit.
The Cardiology Department at Northern Health is one of the busiest in Victoria, with a general cardiology inpatient unit, heart failure unit, and chest pain evaluation unit. You will have the opportunity to manage patients with emergency cardiovascular disorders, learn interpretation and performance of non-invasive investigations, and participate in invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Cardiology Registrar to support the consultant and junior medical officers in providing care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Manage patients with emergency cardiovascular disorders.
- Learn interpretation and performance of non-invasive investigations such as transthoracic echocardiography.
- Participate in invasive procedures such as coronary angiography and permanent pacing.
