Internal expressions of interest are invited to fill a Forensic Accounting role within Enforcement and Compliance.
The TeamOur team provides specialised accounting services to regulatory teams conducting investigations or compliance activities including financial reconstructions, accounting advice and analysis, preparation of financial information including witness statements and affidavits for litigation activity and accounting data interrogation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough financial investigations and analysis using accounting software and query tools to extract data, prepare reports, and create financial reconstructions and flow charts of transactions
- Provide expert advice and investigation support to stakeholders on financial aspects of commercial transactions, the flow of funds, and methodologies used to reconstruct information; participate in investigation and litigation processes including preparing and reviewing witness statements and affidavits, providing evidence in court and managing evidence and data according to evidence management practices
- Collaborate with the team to develop briefs of evidence
- Analyse financial information to identify data trends or anomalies, and contribute to the development of internal procedures and implementation of standard practices to ensure operational effectiveness and quality controls
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required
