Job Description:

Our team is responsible for identifying and investigating potential misconduct, determining appropriate responses, and pursuing administrative, civil, or criminal outcomes. This role will contribute to ASIC's investigations of suspected misconduct, including obtaining enforcement outcomes.

As an Enforcement Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to participate in varied, interesting, and impactful work. You will contribute to preparing and conducting enforcement action, including civil litigation, criminal prosecution, and administrative action.

Key responsibilities include preparing and compiling criminal, civil, and administrative briefs, providing support to any proceedings in State or Federal Courts, working as part of multi-disciplinary enforcement teams, engaging in investigation planning, and project managing matters.

You will also employ a range of evidence gathering techniques, including conducting compulsory examinations, interviewing witnesses, participating in the execution of search warrants, taking witness statements, preparing affidavits, and issuing compulsory notices.

Additionally, you will utilise ASIC's evidence management technology and other systems to derive insights from data, information, and documents, and consider the interpretation and application of the law to all aspects of ECG's work.
