Senior Renewable Energy Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions for clients worldwide.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile projects and collaborate with a talented team of engineers. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants.

  • Solar/Wind/BESS site visits, inspections, and Root Cause Analysis
  • High-level understanding of energy yield assessments
  • Design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants
  • Experience with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviews
  • Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of wind, solar, and BESS projects
  • Manage projects as the owner or lender engineer
  • Knowledge on wind projects is beneficial
  • Manage engineering sub-consultants to meet client requirements
  • Maintain communication with engineers at other international offices
  • Facilitate information sharing in electrical engineering for renewable energy plants
  • Client liaison, including development and review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress, and ensuring timely production of deliverables
  • Participate and represent the company in renewable energy conferences and events
  • Additional tasks requested by the Engineering Manager

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Working experience in the consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer (essential)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Travel requirements: up to 20-30%
