Exciting Accounts Payable Role in a Dynamic Team

We are seeking an exceptional Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's growing team in the Homebush Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable functions efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve variances.
  • Perform various reconciliations, including balance sheets and bank statements, and ensure accurate GST calculations.
  • Assist with month-end close and contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3-4+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including vendor statement reconciliation.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with V-Lookups and Pivot tables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
