The ideal candidate will possess substantial public practice experience, be well-versed in tax knowledge, and demonstrate a natural flair for client engagement and team mentoring.

About the Opportunity
  • Manage Client Portfolios – Deliver expert advisory services to small-to-medium enterprises, professionals, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Lead Tax & Compliance Efforts – Prepare and review financials, BAS statements, tax returns, and assist with strategic tax planning.
  • Cultivate Long-Term Relationships – Establish trust with clients as a trusted advisor, not merely a service provider.
  • Mentor Junior Team Members – Provide guidance, support, and review work of junior staff.
  • Streamline Workflow Efficiency – Champion best practices utilizing Xero, XPM, and cloud-based tools.
  • Communicate Effectively with Regulators – Confidently engage with the ATO, ASIC, and SRO on behalf of clients.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of public practice accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, and cloud platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling strong client relationships and team leadership
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines and deliver quality results
