Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial accountant to join our team. As a senior financial accountant, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Prepare post month-end accounting journals, including accruals, revenue recognition, and other standing and ad hoc entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
  • Payment Processing: Support payment processing, liaise with creditors and debtors, manage reconciliations, and set up new supplier accounts
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and corporate obligations, including the calculation and submission of FBT, GST, BAS, and other ATO requirements within specified deadlines
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice on financial management and accounting policies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors and assist in preliminary and year-end audit procedures
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree and CA or CPA qualifications
  • Experience: Experience with financial management systems and solutions, such as Concur, Netsuite, and Microsoft Dynamics, is desirable
  • Leadership: Experience managing direct reports/AP or AR is desirable
