Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the MINT Residential division, including Build to Rent (BTR), Permanent Rentals, and Property Sales. This role requires strategic alignment and operational excellence across Australasia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the BTR portfolio and enhance the profitability of the real estate department.
  • Oversee the negotiation and execution of property agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms, state legislation, and operational standards.
  • Provide visionary leadership to property management teams across Australia, fostering a culture of high performance, employee engagement, and continuous development through coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with senior management to design and implement operational frameworks, systems, and processes that support the organisation's growth objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all real estate laws, licensing requirements, trust accounting regulations, and Minor Hotels' Code of Conduct.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing it positively in all internal and external interactions.
  • Prepare and present executive reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of key developments and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Current Real Estate Certificate of Registration or Full Licence in at least one Australian state, with the ability to obtain mutual recognition in other states.
  • Extensive expertise in real estate sales procedures and property management, supported by a minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of real estate legislation, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, business development, and financial decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and handle confidential information.
