Hotel Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the upkeep of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of hotel equipment and avoid costly downtime.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff, solving issues like clogged drains, faulty lights, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist with routine repairs, including furniture, fixtures, doors, and more.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of work performed.
  • Support safety programs by identifying hazards and following fire and emergency procedures.
  • Keep tools and work areas organized and clean.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs (compensated with minimum 2-hour pay if called in).


Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience (1+ years) in HVAC, refrigeration, and heating systems maintenance.
  • Proven skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs (2+ years).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with hotel staff and interact professionally with guests.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
  • Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks both indoors and outdoors (up to 25% outside work).
