Lancemore Mansion Hotel are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand/ Steward to join our Kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in maintaining a clean and functional working environment.
Do you thrive off a pumping environment? This is a great role to assist the business during peak times. There is potential for the right candidates to join the team on a casual basis.
To be successful in this role it is preferable that you have:
- Ability in handling chemicals
- An understanding of a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work around dishwasher/ Hot Kitchen
- Availability to participate in a 7 day working roster of days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Initiative and be a team player
- Moderate amount of weight lifting required
- Good personal presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivation, can do attitude
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in our Functions kitchen as required.
