Lancemore Mansion Hotel are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand/ Steward to join our Kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in maintaining a clean and functional working environment. This role is ideal for handling a pumping environment with potential for the right candidates to join the team on a casual basis.
Responsibilities- Assist in daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Support the kitchen team during peak periods to ensure efficient service
- Operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under supervision
- Participate in a 7-day roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Handle utensils and chemicals as required and maintain safety standards
- Demonstrate initiative and work well as part of a team
- Light lifting as needed
- Maintain good personal presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in our Functions kitchen as required.
