As an Assistant Night Manager, you will work together with the Night Team to anticipate and deliver an exceptional experience to all guests. You report to the Front Office Manager & Rooms Division Manager and collaborate with all departments, including but not limited to: Management, Housekeeping, Sales, Reservations, Maintenance and all Food & Beverage; to execute stunning service to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • To represent the face of the hotel to be able to offer an enticing, warm welcome to all guests entering The Victoria Hotel
  • To keep abreast of current Melbourne trends, experiences and product knowledge to create a customized experience for your guests every time
  • To ensure you are presented impeccably groomed and looking your best at all times
  • To execute best practice of all hotel procedures and policies at all times
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs and desires immediately as they occur during the night shift
  • Accurately identify any discrepancy, which exists between revenue and payments
  • Being totally conversant with regard to all aspects of Opera as it relates to specific night audit functions
  • To maintain a proactive and positive approach to the role in order to achieve success
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with all staff & management
  • To promote all areas of the business and ensure adequate details are obtained and passed on to the correct manager following any enquiries after hours

MUST OBTAIN
  • Experience in the role is preferred.
