Key Commercial Leadership Role

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced commercial professional to lead our key leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all commercial aspects of a significant contract within South Australia.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in strategic planning, contract management, and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies to support the business portfolio.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic planning, contract management, and delivery of services in accordance with contractual obligations.
  2. Overseeing the negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency.
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory bodies.
  5. Identifying and mitigating commercial risks associated with the provision of services.
  6. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of service providers to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
  7. Leading and mentoring a team of commercial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

About You

  • 5 years of experience in commercial management or a related field, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in contract management software, financial analysis tools, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
