
Cloud Observability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Observability Engineer to support the end-to-end setup and optimization of monitoring and logging frameworks in our cloud-native applications running on AWS.
">Key Responsibilities:">
- ">
- Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Deploy and configure Dynatrace OneAgents and ActiveGates across AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, and Lambda environments.">
- Real-User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring: Set up RUM and synthetic monitoring, along with Davis AI, to proactively detect performance issues.">
- Custom Dashboards and Alerting Rules: Build service-centric dashboards and alerting rules aligned with business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).">
- Integration with AWS Services: Integrate Dynatrace with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and incident/alerting platforms such as ServiceNow and PagerDuty.">
- Centralized Logging Pipelines: Design and implement centralized logging pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and FluentBit for AWS logs.">
- Elasticsearch Clusters Management: Manage Elasticsearch clusters for performance, indexing strategies, and retention policies.">
- Log and APM Data Correlation: Correlate log and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) data to assist in root cause analysis and proactive monitoring.">
- AWS-Focused Monitoring Operations: Work closely with cloud engineering teams to embed observability in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, implement tagging standards and custom metadata strategies to enhance traceability, and tune and optimize monitoring for cost efficiency and noise reduction in dynamic AWS environments.">

- Dynatrace Expertise: Hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS, especially in cloud-native and AWS integrations.">
- ELK Stack Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ELK stack (Elastic 7.x or 8.x) and best practices for logging in AWS.">
- AWS Services Experience: Solid experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, etc.">
- Scripting Skills: Strong skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting for automation and data transformation.">
- DevOps/Agile Environment: Experience working in DevOps/Agile delivery environments.">
- Microservices and Container Orchestration: Understanding of microservices and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).">
