The Opportunity


We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients and their families, supporting them through the emotional and practical challenges associated with illness, injury, and hospitalisation.

This position offers flexible hours for better work-life balance and access to wellbeing services, legal & financial assistance. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver psychosocial support to clients experiencing mental health challenges
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Contribute to care planning, advocacy, group facilitation, and recovery-oriented practices
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Social Work (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for full membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise a variety of social work interventions
  • Demonstrated experience in medical social work practice
  • Knowledge of community resources services to meet patient needs
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently as required
  • Willingness to uphold core values.
  • Experience in Rehabilitation and/or Mental Health highly desirable.
Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work
  • Eligibility for membership with the AASW (or relevant registration body)
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
