The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Therapy & Family Services team in Taigum and Sandgate.

In this role, you will administer speech, language and listening assessments in accordance with Healthy Hearing Monitoring Guidelines, as well as provide speech pathology sessions for NDIS and Medicare clients with a hearing loss.

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services that support the communication goals of Deaf and hard of hearing children and their families.

Main responsibilities include assessing children, planning and developing programs, implementing therapy programs, providing clinical management, and maintaining case notes and progress reports.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Membership, NDIS Worker's Screening Check, and Working With Children Check/Blue Card.

Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team.

A demonstrated ability to manage caseloads, knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and principles of Family Centred Practice (FCP), and experience working with the Deaf and hard of hearing population are highly regarded.

We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
