About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Queensland, Australia. As a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals across the lifespan, including children, adults, and the elderly.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care.
- Educate and support families and caregivers in implementing therapy strategies at home.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements/Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
