As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with a wide variety of experiences.
The Emergency Department team is dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency medical care in a collaborative environment, thanks to a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately performing patient assessments and identifying patient needs
- Initiating appropriate nursing interventions
- Providing care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performing timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completing and revising the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performing timely and accurate Quality Improvement assessments
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:
- A current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or from a compact state
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
