About This Role:

We are seeking a medical professional to fill a challenging position as an Emergency Medicine Specialist in a vibrant community near Adelaide.

This opportunity allows for the delivery of high-quality medical services, leadership of a clinical team, and contribution to a renowned medical education program.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-tier emergency care, performing procedures and leading a clinical team in a patient-centered environment.
  • Enhance the delivery of emergency care by overseeing clinical reviews and driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor medical staff and contribute to a highly regarded medical education program in Emergency Medicine.
  • SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RURAL GENERALIST ED TRAINING HUB WITH A FOCUS ON EXCELLENCE.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with specialist registration in Emergency Medicine (FACEM).
  • Extensive experience in clinical emergency medicine within an Australian Emergency Department setting.
  • Expertise in managing both pediatric and adult emergencies.
  • Strong leadership, professional judgment, and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
