Job Title: Emergency Resident Medical Officer

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Emergency Department team as an Emergency Medical Practitioner/ACEM Trainee (Registrar/RMO). The department provides a collaborative and dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to high-quality Emergency Medicine services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage patient care, collaborate with Registrars, Consultants, Nursing and Allied Health professionals, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing patient care in collaboration with the Emergency Department team
  • Collaborating with Registrars, Consultants, Nursing and Allied Health professionals to deliver high-quality Emergency Medicine services
  • Contributing to the development of clinical skills and knowledge through rotations, including Intensive Care Unit, Anaesthetics, and Paediatrics Emergency

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Have sound knowledge, problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork
