Role Overview
The position of Aboriginal Education Officer is a key role in supporting the education and wellbeing of Aboriginal students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to teachers on culturally responsive teaching practices
- Develop and implement educational programs that cater to Aboriginal students' needs
- Build strong relationships with local Aboriginal communities and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of educational resources
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture and history
- Experience working with Aboriginal students and communities
- Ability to develop and deliver educational programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time ongoing position located at Wauchope Public School in Regional NSW.
