Culturally Responsive Mental Health Specialist

Our organization is seeking a Provisional Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar to join our team. As an innovative and dynamic individual, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering psychological assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services in the Central and Far West Youth Justice Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for the psychosocial health needs of Aboriginal Young people, their families and community in a holistic and culturally sound manner.
- Deliver psychological assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services or programs to young people who offend, including those who sexually offend.
- Create holistic treatment plans to support the needs of young people, their families and community.
- Assist in the formulation and review of individual Risk - Needs - Responsivity based case plans for the management and supervision of young people on remand or sentenced to a custodial or community order.
- Current provisional or full registration (Clinical Psychology registrar) with the Psychology Board of Australia:
- A current Drivers' Licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW
- Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
