About the Role
The Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) is seeking a talented Grants Program Officer to join the Multicultural Affairs Branch. As a Grants Program Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all stages of grants delivery with the flagship Multicultural Festivals and Events grants program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of grant programs and sound knowledge and understanding of Victorian government policies and processes relating to grant program management.
- Prepare briefs, reports, and correspondence on a range of complex and/or sensitive issues with high attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Contribute positively to a team environment and contribute to the development of grant management databases and Victorian Government briefing and correspondence systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of grant programs and sound knowledge and understanding of Victorian government policies and processes relating to grant program management.
- Demonstrated experience preparing briefs, reports, and correspondence on a range of complex and/or sensitive issues with high attention to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
