The Experience

Journey to the Dulce Gulf, a tropical paradise teeming with vibrant flora and fauna. Engage in in-water studies to shed light on critical habitats for young and adult turtles, identifying key areas for survival enhancement.

  • Prepare boats and equipment for surveys, ensuring efficient data collection.
  • Conduct biometric data collection, tagging, and sample collection from sea turtles, contributing to valuable research insights.
  • Aid in transporting turtles to the rescue center or releasing them back into their natural habitat, supporting successful rehabilitation and reintroduction strategies.
Responsibilities

As a participant, prioritize the well-being of the sea turtles, assisting in evaluating, stabilizing, and recording data for sick or injured turtles. Help with feeding, cleaning, and maintaining the center's facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Conservation Efforts
