As a key member of our Research and Innovation business unit, the Economics, Data and Insights team is a supportive and highly productive group, delivering credible and valuable information to support better decision making in the Australian dairy industry.

We are seeking an Industry Analyst to play a key role in monitoring, analysing and reporting on domestic and global dairy industry developments, and contributing insights to key Dairy Australia publications such as our Situation and Outlook report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse domestic and global dairy industry developments
  • Contribute insights to key Dairy Australia publications
  • Build strong relationships across our organisation and with industry stakeholders
  • Interpret data and provide concise, accurate and valuable insights
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences in written and verbal formats

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in agribusiness, economics, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work with large datasets in excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
