Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role:

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to senior management and is responsible for overseeing all mechanical functions, including regular maintenance and servicing, rebuilds, repairs, and modifications of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and supervising all workshop activities
  • Liaising with transport managers to coordinate and schedule works as well as vehicle/trailer work readiness
  • Leading, managing, and developing the workshop team to support high performance, skills, and career growth, and a positive culture
  • Ensuring fleet condition, safety, and presentation are of an extremely high standard
  • Meeting targets in quality, efficiency, timeliness, cost-control, and team culture
  • Reviewing and updating processes and methods for continual improvement in practices, outcomes, and safety

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience in managing a heavy vehicle workshop, working with this type of equipment. You'll have been very hands-on earlier in your career, progressing to a leadership role where excellent planning and management ensures high-quality, on-time outcomes.

Naturally, you'll be a skilled planner, communicator, and supervisor who prioritises team engagement, culture, and continual improvement.
