Heavy Industry Equipment Specialist

About the Role
  • Safety: Ensure commitment to safety standards and maintain accurate documentation (SWMS, JHA/JSA, work permits, visitor logs).
  • Mechanical Responsibilities: Perform mechanical fitting, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and conduct mould maintenance/fabrication.
  • Teamwork & Flexibility: Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and provide coverage across different plant positions when needed.
  • Process & Systems: Support continuous improvement initiatives and utilize systems for spare parts coordination and stocktakes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a mechanical role or similar.
  • A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual.
  • A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility or experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
