Job Title: Early Intervention Mental Health Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Mental Health Specialist to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team.

You will be responsible for providing initial intake and assessment, as well as brief interventions to young people. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the local service system to develop and maintain appropriate referral pathways, ensuring therapeutic intervention, group work, and community awareness activities are available to those in need.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Social work, Psychology, Nursing or Occupational Therapy;
  • A demonstrated understanding of mental health issues affecting young people and their families, including best practice treatment options, support services, and co-morbidities;
