Position Overview
We are looking for a select group of highly skilled interns to assist in the development of sophisticated quantitative research aimed at financial markets. Interns will employ advanced statistical methods to analyze market data and uncover trends. You will collaborate in small, focused teams, contributing to pioneering financial research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design trading strategies, enhance mathematical models, and assist in converting algorithms into executable code.
- Backtest and deploy trading models and signals in a real-time trading setting.
- Leverage unconventional data sources to drive innovative solutions.
- Perform research and statistical evaluations to construct and optimize monetization systems for trading signals.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or PhD candidates in computer science or engineering disciplines.
- Solid understanding of probability and statistics (including machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, and natural language processing).
- Previous experience in a data-centric research environment.
- Proficiency in translating mathematical models and algorithms into programming languages (Python).
- Effective, clear, and proactive communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, working both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
