Position Overview
We are looking for a select group of highly skilled interns to assist in the advancement of sophisticated quantitative research for financial markets. Interns will utilize advanced statistical methodologies to analyze market data and uncover trends. You will collaborate in small, highly interactive teams, contributing to innovative financial research initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Design trading strategies, enhance mathematical models, and assist in converting algorithms into executable code.
- Backtest and deploy trading models and signals in a real-time trading context.
- Leverage unconventional data sources to foster innovation.
- Conduct research and statistical evaluations to develop and optimize monetization systems for trading signals.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or PhD candidates in computer science or engineering disciplines.
- Strong foundation in probability and statistics (e.g., machine learning, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, NLP).
- Previous experience in a data-centric research environment.
- Proficiency in translating mathematical models and algorithms into programming languages (Python).
- Effective, clear, and proactive communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, working both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
