About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Fitter.

You will be working in the Western Region, specifically at our Tom Price branch. Your key focus will be to provide breakdown, service and planned maintenance support on a range of construction and mining equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite repairs on a wide range of equipment
  • Attend to site breakdowns within Tom Price and surrounding areas
  • Undertake diagnostic work
  • Liaise with customers within the territory
  • Work with internal technical staff to achieve successful maintenance

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification in mobile plant mechanics or a related field
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of civil and mining equipment
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Technical knowledge and diagnostic ability

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate starting at $65 per hour plus super + night shift allowance + company bonuses
  • Minimum 12hr days paid while working in the Pilbara on rostered days
