Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Job

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Tom Price.

About the Role:
  • Perform onsite repairs on a wide range of equipment
  • Attend to site breakdowns within Tom Price and surrounding areas
  • Undertake diagnostic work
  • Liaise with customers within the territory, building strong relationships
  • Work with internal technical support staff to achieve successful maintenance
Requirements:
  • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications
  • Have experience, knowledge and understanding of civil and mining equipment
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously within remote areas
  • Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships
  • Have great technical knowledge and diagnostic ability

  • Competitive pay rate starting at $65 per hour plus super + night shift allowance + company bonuses
  • Minimum 12hr days paid whilst working in the Pilbara on rostered days
  • All travel hours on site paid – to/from site to camp and intersite
