Student Engagement Officer Role

We are seeking an individual to play a key role in devising, implementing, and evaluating a range of student programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering on-campus events and activities that enhance student engagement and retention.

About the Role:

The Student Engagement Officer will work under broad direction from an agreed plan. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering on-campus events and activities
  • Developing and implementing student-focused programs
  • Evaluating and reporting on program outcomes
  • Identifying and resolving matters independently or escalating to Team Leader as necessary

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in event management, community development, or a related field
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and assessing recreational activities and/or community development programs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to manage own workload and adopt flexible work practices as required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement principles
