Defence Information Specialist

Job Title:
As a key member of our Defence team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of integrated solutions across critical projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring data is effectively managed, governed, and leveraged to support performance, compliance, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust data management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with Defence standards.
- Guarantee data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across technical, engineering, and logistics domains.
- Manage structured and unstructured data, including technical documentation, drawings, and specifications throughout the system lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise data governance and utilisation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and information flow.
- Establish and maintain secure, accessible data repositories with appropriate metadata, version control, and access protocols.
- Contribute to the development of Data Management Plans (DMPs) and ensure alignment with project milestones and lifecycle stages.
- Engage with Defence stakeholders and contractors to uphold consistency and quality of data and documentation.
