About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to strengthen governance frameworks and provide legal expertise to support organisational strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of governance frameworks.
  • Providing in-house legal guidance, coordinating external advice, and contributing to best practice compliance and governance.
  • Coordinating lease and land tenure portfolios, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements.
  • Managing complaints and investigations in line with policies and procedures.
  • Preparing high-quality reports, policies, procedures, and briefings to inform decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law or a relevant discipline.
  • Admission as an Australian Lawyer.
  • Current practising certificate or eligibility to obtain.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial leasing and complaint handling.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in local government (desirable but not essential).
