About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through after-hours telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities.
  • Provide acute medical support and clinical oversight to ensure continuity of care for residents.
  • Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists when required to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds to facilitate seamless communication.
About You
  • A compassionate and adaptable physician who values flexibility and is committed to delivering exceptional care.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a General or Specialist Practitioner.
  • Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings highly regarded.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records to streamline care delivery.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Reliable internet connection and personal laptop required for remote work.
