About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee office fit-out projects from initial planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage office fit-out projects up to $2 million in value from start to finish
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Manage client expectations and provide regular project updates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including project planning, coordination, and execution.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing office fit-out projects (preferably within the $500K to $2M range)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management tools, and health and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction, or a related field are preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized building company is highly desirable

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120-$150 per hour, based on industry standards and the location in Sydney CBD.
