Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic and collaborative payroll team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely payment of Anglicare staff, in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and process pay and benefits accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments.
- Enter, check, and maintain accurate data in the system and electronic files, ensuring information is up-to-date and reliable.
- Ensure timely and accurate administration of pay and associated records, including time-keeping, statistics, leave, superannuation, benefits, and other relevant information.
- Provide exceptional internal customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and requests for information, producing reports, and returning calls.
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll systems, and relevant legislation, as well as experience with time and attendance systems, general staff procedures, and intermediate knowledge of MS Office. A minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll processing is required, with Chris21 and Kronos experience being highly desirable.
