Job Title: Technical Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Expert to drive technical and business value for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients, creating compelling narratives, and explaining complex concepts in an engaging manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Form strong relationships with clients throughout their assigned territory to provide expert technical guidance and support in collaboration with an Account Executive and a Senior Architect.
  • Develop and deliver hands-on evaluations and Spark programming experiences that showcase the value of Databricks, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
  • Contribute to building a thriving Databricks technical community through engagement at workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Become a trusted advisor on Big Data Analytics aspects of architecture and design.
  • Support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications that highlight the benefits of Databricks.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with client-facing work, narrative creation, question answering, and agenda alignment to achieve tangible outcomes.
  • Able to independently deliver a technical proposition, identify customer pain-points, and explain important areas for business value to develop a trusted advisor skillset.
  • Proficient in core programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledgeable in Big Data Analytics domains with exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and understanding of major public cloud platforms.
