Job Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee the efficient utilization of labor and material resources in the Electrical Shop.
- Supervision and Compliance: Ensure electricians comply with codes and regulations while maintaining electrical integrity.
- Business Development: Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, driving new business opportunities through proposal generation and contract negotiation.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with HQ departments for project estimation, pricing, and seamless execution of work orders.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal material stock levels and produce regular reports on order intake, work progress, revenue, and margins.
- Education and Certifications: Holds an Electrical Engineering degree and has completed at least 4 years of apprenticeship as an Electrician/HV Fitter, with Level 3 certifications in HV installations, inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrates extensive experience in shop management and project estimation, preferably within the electrical industry, with strong technical proficiency in electrical systems, including indoor and outdoor switchgears, breakers, and power transformers up to 132kV.
- Leadership and Communication: Exhibits excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills, with a proven track record of fostering client relationships and driving business growth.
- Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Is adept at problem-solving, leadership, and strategic thinking, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
