Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Field Engineer.

  • This role involves providing technical support to the front-line execution of drilling, completion and workover scopes of work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing well programs, providing on-call operational support, and supporting the engineering team in well design and planning workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of DCW well programs covering work scope changes or well program deviations with minor risk assessed impacts.
  • Provide on-call well execution operational support to the Minor Rig and Rigless activities including first point of call responsibilities on 7 days / week basis.
  • Support the Brisbane DCW Engineering team by participating in well design and well planning workshops, peer reviews, and onsite technical assurance and well program compliance verification.
  • Represent the team at operating sites with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Lead a contractor operations team.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading and/or supporting the implementation of engineering & operational optimization projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering (Petroleum or Similar)
  • Able to travel to site regularly
  • Detail focused, with the ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams, One Drive & SharePoint
