Job Description:

The role of Mental Health Clinician is a pivotal position within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team. As a key member, you will deliver professional clinical support to young people and their families, offering evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy with a focus on recovery.

Assertive outreach and intensive case management will be crucial in engaging young people who are experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges through the headspace platform. You will collaborate with relevant agencies and participate in case conferences and team meetings regarding the care of young people and provide support to their families.

  • Postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working within a crisis intervention model of care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the mental health needs of young people and their families.
  • A current unrestricted drivers license.
