Job Title: Feed Mill Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Feed Mill Manager to lead our operations at our modern facility in Melbourne's South East fringe.

About the Role:

As a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience managing a milling/manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to our existing team. Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable running of day-to-day operations, while working closely with our executive management team to drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scheduling and production planning processes that meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of mill performance across key metrics
  • Manage site administration and labour costs effectively
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and identify areas for capital investment
  • Oversight of Preventive Maintenance programs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you will possess extensive experience in team management, logistics, product delivery, and quality control. A passion for continuous improvement and a strong understanding of SHEQ principles are essential. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team are also required.
