Cyber Security Expert Role


At Local Peoples, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Expert to join our team as a Technical Delivery Manager.


About the Role:


We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Expert to manage and deliver technical projects and services for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical execution, managing technical teams, and ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
  • Coordinated resources, prepare project teams for kick-off, and ensure effective completion of project milestones.
  • Ensure project consultants deliver to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
  • Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership.
  • Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
  • Identify and manage risks related to technical delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements:


We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Expert with:


  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects.
  • Experience and knowledge in managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and applicable Information Security Manual controls.
  • Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to minimize organization change impact.
  • Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs.
  • Experience in managing Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments.

Clearance and Residency:


The successful candidate must have an NV1 Clearance and be an Australian citizen. This role is open to residents of ACT, QLD, SA, and VIC.
