An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Services Team Leader to oversee our operations. Within the Corporate Services division, the Business Services objectives focus on supporting legal professionals and staff to reinforce the Firm's standing among the elite, providing integrated products and services across all offices, and conducting ongoing process evaluations.

This role entails active participation in various functional tasks and responsibilities, particularly in operational domains such as search and lodgement, printing/photocopying/scanning, mail handling, courier services, fax operations, stationery management, printer fleet oversight, disbursements and recoveries, procurement, space organization, premises upkeep, relocations, archiving, storage, secure custody, safety protocols, parking management, environmental initiatives, and relevant business continuity strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Adelaide Business Services Team, serving as the primary contact for operational, procedural, or service delivery inquiries.
  • Lead and manage the Business Services function, including the Business Centre, Premises, and Search and Lodgement, with an emphasis on sustainable service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Client Services Team Leader to ensure coordinated and seamless service delivery across all corporate services.
  • Supervise the daily operations and requirements of the Business Services team, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Assist in budget formulation, cost forecasting, monthly expense monitoring, and invoice management.
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers while managing purchasing expenditures.
  • Facilitate the induction of new team members and provide office-wide training as necessary.
  • Support the Operations Manager in identifying and implementing enhancements to existing and new processes and services.
  • Foster a strong, positive team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines and requirements.
  • Adhere to all relevant security protocols and requirements.
  • Coordinate emergency and business continuity plans to meet tenancy and office needs.
  • Assist with overflow work from the Business Services Assistant role(s) across Office Services and Premises, providing hands-on support to the team as needed.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess strong organizational skills, a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and a vibrant energy and enthusiasm. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of prior experience in facilities, office services, and operations management within professional services.
