Aquatic and Recreation Officer

Our organization is seeking a skilled Aquatic and Recreation Officer to join our team at the Kununurra Leisure Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct water quality tests and maintain pool equipment to ensure compliance with relevant health standards.
  • Supervise patrons and casual staff to ensure workplace safety and adhere to industry regulations.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of aquatic and recreational programs.
  • Perform reception duties, address customer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Western Australian Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • Pool Operations Certificate Group 1
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency
  • Physical fitness and knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures
