We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Midwife to join our team in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About This Role

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Midwife is to manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing and midwifery care across the spectrum for patients, using leadership and advanced midwifery skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.

  • Demonstration of recent evidenced based, family centred midwifery care across the continuum of midwifery practice within an acute care setting.
  • Competence in planning, coordination and decision making in the management of patients, within the relevant practice setting.
  • Ability to function as a team leader and team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate information sharing between colleagues, women and their families.
  • Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management principles within practice.
