Job Title: Precision Equipment Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Precision Equipment Fitter to join our dynamic workshop team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machining, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute machining operations to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Operate various machinery including lathes, mills, and presses to manufacture high-quality components.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify faults, and perform adjustments as required.
  • Maintain and service machines, tools, and equipment through cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform hand-fitting tasks such as filing and undertaking welding duties if qualified.
  • Collaborate with management, production, and quality teams to resolve technical or production issues.
Requirements:
  • Hold trade qualifications as a diesel fitter, mechanic, or hydraulics fitter.
  • Bring 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in machining, hydraulics, precision measuring instruments, and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Show proven problem-solving ability, technical expertise, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and communication skills.
